How to edit a contract

On occasion after a contract has been signed by both parties an event may occur that requires the contract(s) to be updated. For example: The closing date has been changed and/or pushed back. In this support article we’re going to be covering how to edit a contract from within your imillee dashboard.


How to edit a contract

Please note: Making a change to a contract requires both parties ie. the current home seller and the home buyer to agree and approve the changes with their signatures. Therefore, these changes are made in the negotiations tab.

Sign into your imillee account.

Click on the negotiations tab.

Choose the address of the home.

Click COUNTER and simply follow the prompts to make any necessary changes.

After you've created your counter, open the email containing the contract, then click sign.
Please note:  After your signature has been applied the updated contract will be sent automatically to the other party requesting their signature(s). After the other parties signature has been added, a copy of the updated version will be automatically delivered back to your email.

The final step is to deliver the signed document to your closing company. This if performed automatically for you.
